MoneyStrands: Personal Finance App Reviews

Awesome app

I was searching for such app and found this one. Superb !

Cool

I use a small bank which doesnt show up on the lists. Its okay because manually entering the amounts helps me look at what Im spending each day a little better. This is better than Mint which doesnt connect to my bank either but doesnt allow for manual entries. The budget stuff is pretty cool and it makes for a good way to track your expenses.

Pretty good

Ita one of the best free finance app! There are some little bugs, but is very good for a free app.

Fun app

Moneystrands is a fun, smart, and elegant way to budget. The only reason I gave Moneystrands 4 stars instead of 5 is because they send your passcode protected info to your email inbox which defeats the purpose of having a passcode. Its not a big deal if your just saving for a rainy day but it is if your trying to budget college costs.

Good App, but could be better

Overall, it is an easy to use, and very helpful app. But it would be even better if you can set your own savings goals ( would really help), and if you could transfer your income between your different accounts (rather than deleting a transaction, then entering it to another account) Other than that, a great app.

Moneystrands

One of the best free financial apps Ive come across so far, my only beef is that Im exact and the app tends to cut the cents off of bills entered into the calendar upon initial entry, other than that its super solid.

Great app for keeping up with finance

Nice app to help getting finance back on track. Thanks for the awesome tool.

Dudemeister

Exactly what I was looking for-effective and free!

Good start but needs improvement

Seems like a great app at first, until I went to edit a bill, once I hit save, the due date changes to one day earlier & all the once editable fields are now locked. Every time you hit save on any bill the due date changes, please fit. Cannot Auto add accounts, which they have been saying they are working on for about a year now. I will add more as I continue to test this app.

Great program

The website is state of the art and extremely colorful with great graphics love it how you can input transactions from your money files and store it online

Was great

But now it never connects to the server..

Was awesome

Now I cannot get it to connect to the server at all.

I loved it but...

Its a wonderful app for keeping track of where your money goes but as of two days ago the app cannot connect to server PLEASE FIX!!!!!

No automated updates?!?!

Looks like a slick app/website but you have to update all your accounts manually. No thank you. Let me know when you fix that and Ill give it another try.

Multicurrency

Great great great app...easy to use just what I wanted and FREE!!!!.amazing web development. Only two issues: please include multicurrency option in iPhone version and sincronization option between web version and iPhone app ...would facilitate the recording of data

For iPods, seems useless

I use an iPod touch, so my experience is limited. This applications account creation feature wouldnt let me input, so I had to go to the website to make my account. After, the application didnt have a way to let me input my budgeting targets. It was unable to sync to the server, even though I was connected to wifi. Deleted it.

The best, so far.

Tried so many other apps, liked this the most. Given that Mint wont work in my country

Good app

It still has some issues, like slowness in sync from the server, I couldnt find where I can set my budget goals, once you schedule a bill is very hard to edit it, etc... But in overall this app haves a great potential! Keep improving and youll get there.

Fix password entry

Well that was a wasted download. I couldnt create an account because the password field was covered by the iPhone keyboard. If it looks like this from the start, it hardly gives me confidence for the rest of the app. Fix this issue and maybe Ill try again.

Pretty good

I wish the interface for Ipad was not IPhone-sized, but overall this is a useful, free tool for watching your spending.
